Calling on all real estate agents in Johannesburg and Cape Town to take part in important training and workshops related to the real estate industry.
Providing training for property practitioners in South Africa is one of the cornerstones of our law firm and we are quickly filling up our calendar with workshops relevant to property professionals.
The property practitioners' regulatory authority, known as the Estate Agency Affairs Board (EAAB) has put into place various standards that must be met in order to qualify as a real estate agent in South Africa.
One of the most important tasks for property practitioners to complete throughout their training is the Logbook that is a mandatory assignment. However, this is a relatively new requirement, and there are certain minimum requirements that the Logbook should contain.
The next workshop focused on the property practitioners' logbook will take place on the 17th of March.
Completing the NQF4: Real Estate course is also required for all real estate agents in Cape Town and South Africa. The EAAB will soon be enforcing the education requirements on each and every agent and, should you not comply, hefty fines will be issued. This was done with agents who did not comply with their CPD requirements.
Our next workshop for the NQF4: Real Estate will be taking place on the 18th of March and it's imperative that you indicate your interest in attending as the spaces are filling up quickly.

As announced last year we will be hosting a lunch every quarter with the top performing agents of every quarter and our first lunch will be held on the 27th of March 2020 at Carnelian @ The Rock in Fourways. It is a great venue and we look forward to hosting the top performers.
We believe in rewarding excellence and it is for this very reason that we will be hosting our first annual property awards towards the end of the year. We will give full details regarding this in our next newsletter.
